Happy Thanksgiving,
Is everybody ready with their recipes for the big feast next week? I heard on NPR a mouth watering description of squash lasagna so I've been doing some research and taste testing. It's
yummy no matter what recipe I follow. I'm taking the dish to our 4-H dinner tomorrow night along with cushaw pumpkin custard pie, but before that I will be set up at the farmer's market with greens of all kinds and a few jars of Gravel Knolls Seasoned Salt, and a few CSA applications for next year. Hope you can come out.
The market will be in the same location as it was this past summer. We will be there 2pm to 4:30pm. I'm expecting about 13 other vendors to set up, and it looks like it's going to be a nice day.
I've been keeping The Feed Barn stocked with green and romaines during the week as well and we will have eggs all winter long.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving,
Linda
