Laying low and making plans for our 2012 harvest season on the farm.

Has anyone heard how the weather is going to turn out this year? I'm picking lettuce varieties that will
take some heat. Tomatoes that will happily suffer through humidity. Shorter maturing plant varieties to reduce the risk of being in the field to many days of drought. All are promising to be very tasty.Tricky business guessing at the weather.

We are taking applications for this year's CSA. The app.can be found on the tab "How to Join", downloaded and printed. Drop it off during our retail store hours or mail it to us.

If you were a 2011 member you should have received an e-mail from us about an opportunity to get hands dirty on the farm throughout the summer. If you didn't please contact me and I will send it out to you.
