SWOEFFA would like to invite you to see Farmageddon-The Unseed War on American Family Farms

Hi,

The Southwest chapter of OEFFA will be showing the film FARMAGEDDON-THE UNSEEN WAR ON AMERICAN FAMILY FARMS on Sunday, March 4, at 2:00 pm.  The location is Xavier University at Kelley Auditorium in Alter Hall.

The film is part of our series "Our Food, Our Farmers, Our Future".  A flyer is attached.

"Americans’ right to access fresh, healthy foods of their choice is under attack. Farmageddon tells the story of small, family farms that were providing safe, healthy foods to their communities and were forced to stop, sometimes through violent action, by agents of misguided government bureaucracies, and seeks to figure out why."  Visit www.farmageddonmovie.com for more information

This film is a must-see for farmers of small farms.  We would also strongly encourage farmers to share this announcement with their customers so that we can all be better prepared to protect our precious right to access good, nutrient-dense food.

We are fortunate to have Gary Cox of the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund joining us to answer questions after the film.  He is also featured in the film.

The cost is free but RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED, due to limited seating.  Please respond to this email soon before we fill up.

Hope to see you there.
